Aleeca Bell, PhD, RN, CNM conducts bio-behavioral research to promote healthy mother-infant interaction using perinatal interventions guided by precision medicine. Dr. Bell studies the childbirth experience, early parenting interventions, and risk biomarkers (hormonal, genetic, and epigenetic) in the oxytocin system that influence mother-infant synchrony, newborn neurobehavioral organization, and risk of maternal postpartum depression/anxiety.
